Norman Whiteside Videos

Norman Whiteside was a tough player from Northern Island.

Originally, he was a forward but played his latter years in the midfield position, helped a great deal by his physical presence on the pitch.

He is well known for debuting at both club and country level at the meagre age of 17.

Sadly his career was blighted by a knee injury in the era before even the worst cruciate could be saved by a skilled surgeon, and he retired at the age of 26.

He was also a well known drinking buddy of Paul McGrath!
