Some blinkered fans forget how hard Ruud fought and how bizarrely Fergie will force good players out of the team.
In an era of Fergie’s tinkering, Ruud was there and, especially early in his stint at United, was the most clinical finisher that United have ever seen, bar none.
Not only that but he scored some incredible and important goals, never bottled it on the big occasions either - to me he will always be a red legend.
